Did I tell you that Mama finally gave in and compromised with Abba a week ago?

Yup, Mama started going to work late and coming home early last week. 4 working hours a day, to be exact. But I know she still "cheats" and works through lunch. Well . . . technically, she eats as she works. I really can't complain cos' I know she still makes sure I have all the nutrition I need the last few weeks in this wonderful rent-free lodging.

Abba is worried and is nagging a lot that Mama is still working.

Like today, she came home and decided that she wanted to finish applying the undercoat to those horrendous gothic-like black wardrobes she has had since . . . I don't even know when! (Don't worry, Mama got the environment-friendly, non-toxic water-based undercoat with no lead or mercury, did the deed in a well-ventilated room with a fan to keep her cool and the almost non-existent fumes away.) And I know she's thinking of getting the full paint work on the wardrobes sometime this week.

I have to say though that Mama is not too bad at this DIY stuff.
