Look at the Stars, see how they shine for you

Abba has been preparing himself the last couple of days before I make my arrival into my parents’ lives.

He has done his best to keep Mama away from work today; although he seems to think that their last few days before I join them will be spent in a (mad) dash to have everything ready for me:

+ Milk -> breast
+ Pump -> tuned
+ Bottles -> sterilised
+ Milk –> formula
+ Disposable Nappies -> bio-degradable

+ Reusable Nappies -> environmentally-friendly
+ Cot -> assembled

+ Changing Table -> up
+ Drawers -> filled
+ Cupboards –> painted
+ Car Seat –> secured
+ Stroller -> pimped

I can only imagine the hope and expectations Abba and Mama will have for me, as all parents do for their children. It will be some years before I get to read all about their aspirations and tribulations, but we’ll just have to see…

Although if it is anything to go by my Abba’s sense of humour, he will probably expect me to be a "Yellow" gem!
