Hello again!
It’s me . . . she who is now known as Nadine Almas Noor Huda. I think Abba and Mama have been keeping this to themselves for a long time, or at least ever since they were 95% sure that I was going to be a girl!
They must have their reasons to name me who I am…I think it’s because it implies:
Nadine : Meaning Hope in Arabic & Hebrew
Almas : My grandmother/Dadi’s name, meaning Diamond in Arabic
Noor : My Mama’s dad’s middle name, meaning Light in Arabic
Huda : My Abba’s family name, meaning Right guidance in Arabic
I guess that is who I will be known as to everyone from now, perhaps until I am old enough to know who I really am.
